:: you matter ::

you are the essential element of this experience.

you deserve to feel grounded, nurtured & transformed.

What is it you hold dear to your heart when you lean-in to your longings about your life?  We will offer our best support to facilitate balance, meaning and joy in whatever way that makes the most sense for you.  We honor the community you belong to, and respect your world views.

Our work together will illuminate how your everyday lived experiences hold valuable information about your unique desires as you move through grief or come close to death.  Our work facilitates mind-body-spirit connection. This is a powerful collaboration in any experience but especially if you belong to a community whose needs have historically been invisiblized, or have lived experiences with anxiety and trauma that resulted in your needs being ignored and/or stigmatized.  You are your best guide and we promise to listen.

What desires come alive in your heart when you envision what is ahead in this time of great transition? What key does your grief hold to facilitate more gratitude in your life? What aspects of your death or the death of a loved one spark a hunger for interconnectedness?

And while yes, grief and death ARE rights of passage, there are also many layers and overtones in our modern world that tend to elevate the noise of these experiences, making it increasingly challenging to tap into the heart of what is robustly present for you in this experience.  Physiologic adaptations to stress, anxiety, depression, racism, homophobia, and trauma of all kinds can intimately interfere, enhance, exacerbate or stifle your grieving process.  Our goal is not to dismiss all of this, but to lean-in it and identify where your needs tend to be invisiblized, while also using a mind-body-spirit approach to create anchor points for this process.

Our work offers collaboration in a way that help you and your support team feel informed as well as vibrant and excited about what comes next.  Together we'll explore how you can connect to your grounded center through a number of modalities including in-home support, outings, art, meditation, visualizations, facilitation,  spiritful practice, and enhanced movement and non-movement techniques to hack the brain/body stress response.

Communities most intimately effected by rising health disparities disproportionately land in the lives of those living with anxiety, trauma, depression (or other mental health challenges), communities of color, and LGBTQIA2+ folks.  Everyday lived experiences navigating stress, anxiety, depression, racism, homophobia, and trauma of all kinds effect physiology, stress response, and opportunity to make meaning from powerfully potent experiences such as grief and death.We believe #blacklivesmatter and the needs of everyone who have historically been ignored, stigmatized, and invisibilized, deserve to have someone who can show up to nourish, love, and fully support them all the while providing appropriate information and trauma informed care.

Luna was an incredible partner and especially helpful in providing information and clarifying options when we had to navigate more difficult decisions.

We recently had a family gathering at our home, to try and get care coordinated for my husband.  It was a meeting that I dreaded, filled with people who love the same person, but have difficulty communicating.  With Luna's facilitation, she kept us on track, held us to the time I had allocated, and steadfastly got to some points of agreement.  Having her there to facilitate gave me the courage I needed to get through the meeting.

It makes me so happy to know Luna is providing doula support in our community!

Luna stepped in when our trusted support withdrew from us in our time of need.  Luna got to know us and made us more comfortable with ourselves and each other.  I appreciate how you were there for both and all of us.

My heart is happy to know Luna is in my community supporting families before, during and after the intensity of birth.

Luna spends time with my husband (living with Alzheimer's) regularly.  Since I work full-time, I worry a lot.  When Luna is here with him, those are the times I don't worry.  He love spending time with her.  She is open-hearted, treats him with dignity, and they get out of the hose and outside consistently.  As a bonus, when I come home from work, dinner is ready to be finished off, and the dishwasher gets mysteriously filled or emptied.  We both feel lucky to be Luna's clients!

Luna's advice throughout all these months made me feel prepared and confident.

Luna offered a warm, grounding, and heart-filled presence every step of the way.
